George Crockford

Honorary Treasurer and Parent Trustee

George was elected to our Trustee board in 2022. His eldest son was diagnosed at birth with hearing loss, which deteriorated over time, and now he has bilateral cochlear implants. His son is also autistic and has Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). George is a Child of Deaf Adults (CODA), with both of his parents being profoundly deaf.

George lives in Kent and is Head of Reporting at the National Audit Office. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA) and has years of finance experience in both central and local government. Until recently, George was a Trustee (Secretary) for one of our local groups, the Kent Deaf Children’s Society.
