Our 'Supporting the achievement of deaf children' resources aim to support education professionals working with deaf or 'hearing impaired' children in early year settings, primary schools, secondary schools and further education. The resources set out simple tips for deaf friendly teaching and to ensure effective inclusion.

These five short films provide simple and easy-to-follow guidance to ensure that deaf pupils can fully participate in the class, access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.

Teachers of the Deaf may find the films helpful for when delivering training to mainstream staff.

The films were produced in joint partnership by NDCS and Team for Children with Hearing Impairment, Access to Education, Birmingham City Council.
