Job description

The National Deaf Children’s Society is the leading charity dedicated to creating a world without barriers for deaf children and young people.

The Local Groups Team supports families of deaf children to come together to support each other. We work with over 100 affiliated local groups – deaf children’s societies – around the UK, as well as other informal groups. We believe in the power of mutual and peer support to enable parents and carers of deaf children to provide the very best for their families.

We are looking for an organised, methodical and professional person to join the team, to help co-ordinate key aspects of the local groups’ service, including the initial enquiry service, child protection processes, as well as written communication with local groups.

If you have strong administration and operational skills; if you are able to communicate with a wide range of people and your attention to detail is second to none, we would love to hear from you.
