Communicating with deaf children who have additional needs

Every child has the right to be able to communicate to the best of their abilities. It is important when a deaf child has additional needs that those abilities are not underestimated by either parents or professionals. All children can learn to communicate: the challenge when a child has additional needs is to discover the most effective way to enable them to communicate as fully as possible.
