Deaf Children Today survey

Since 2018, we’ve run an annual survey of parents and carers of deaf children aged 0 to 25 in the UK.

The information we gather from the Deaf Children Today survey helps us understand the experiences of deaf children and young people and their families in a variety of areas, including:

  • identification of deafness
  • support services
  • language and communication
  • early years
  • school
  • careers and transitions
  • life and activities.

The survey opens in mid-January each year, and we use the results to inform campaigns, support the development of our services and to make sure we’re on track with our strategy.
