Where we are fundraising

Find out where we are doing door-to-door fundraising, how you can identify our fundraisers, and what information they'll ask you for.

Our fundraising activities, including street and door-to-door fundraising, take place across the UK and our fundraisers ask for a regular monthly commitment in the form of a direct debit.

Our recruiters comply with strict Government approved guidance issued by the Chartered Institute of Fundraising and the Fundraising Regulator.

How you can identify our fundraisers

A National Deaf Children’s Society fundraiser can be identified by:

  • Their identification badge, which has their name and ID number on it.
  • The tablet computer or clipboard they are holding so they can take down your details.

What details will our fundraisers ask you to provide?

Our fundraisers ask for a regular monthly commitment in the form of a direct debit. To do this, they will ask you for address details and your bank account details.

Our fundraisers are all knowledgeable ambassadors of our charity, fully trained by our full-time trainer on the work we do and on fundraising best practice.
