As a deaf young person your school or college must make sure you are not disadvantaged and can achieve your best.

What support can I get at uni?

University bring new experiences and it can also give you the opportunity to meet new people, travel and live away from home.

These opportunities will give you the chance to gain structured work experience alongside studying for qualifications.

Education providers must not discriminate against you or treat you unfairly because of your deafness.
