Deaf education map

Use our map to find out what’s happening with education services for deaf children where you live.

You can search for important information like the number of deaf children or Teachers of the Deaf in your area, or how many schools have specialist units for deaf children.

You’ll also be able to track changes in your area over the years (for example, whether numbers of Teachers of the Deaf are going up or down) and compare this to other areas.

Have you spotted any changes on the map that you think are concerning? Use the action buttons to get in touch with local decision-makers and start a conversation about what needs to change for deaf children. If your area provides better support than other areas, there are also things you can do to help other families get the support they need.

Your local service

If you have a question about any of the information that you find on the map. Or if you think that there’s something else about your local service that we should know, please get in touch at [email protected]

About the map
