Donna Ayling: Becoming a member

We met with Donna Ayling, who's been a member with the National Deaf Children's Society since finding out her daughter Rose was deaf.

In this video, Donna talks about becoming a member, the benefits of being a member and why you should join.

What will you receive?

You'll get regular email updates on the topics and resources that matter most to you and your child. Plus, we have advice and guidance officers in your local area who can give you one-to-one guidance on issues such as benefits and securing additional support in school.

Be supported by a community of families

Meet other families through our member events. Be reassured and inspired by stories and advice from other parents, deaf young people and professionals in our community.

Help us change the world for deaf children

By simply becoming a member, you’ll be strengthening our voice and influence – helping us secure a world without barriers for all children with hearing loss.

Emma's story

Emma, mum to Bobby, has been a member of our community since Bobby was two months old.

"There’s nothing worse than being anxious and feeling alone, but the National Deaf Children's Society taught me that we never have to be alone. They have supported us at every single step – I would be lost without them."
