Fundraising in your local club or group

Photo: Help improve the lives of deaf children and young people by raising money for us in your local club or group.

If you’re part of a local club or group, you can make a big difference by fundraising together. There are lots of ways to fundraise in your local community. We’re here to help you every step of the way.

Get started with some of our ideas below or get in touch with us on [email protected] for more information.

Fundraising ideas

Organise an event

Your event could be anything you want – from a golf day to a fundraising dinner, street party or sponsored walk. You’ll be amazed at how much you can achieve. Our fundraising pack has lots of hints and tips to help you on your way.

Bucket collection

An oldie but a goodie! Get a group together and hold a bucket collection at your local train station. Make sure you speak to the relevant authorities for permission and cover busy periods to make the most of your time. You could even dress up to be more noticeable.

Big Cake Bake

Sign up to hold a Big Cake Bake and you’ll receive our free fundraising pack full of goodies. Your cake sale can be as big or small as you like, but in our opinion, the more cake the better. You’ll be bringing in the dough in no time.

Charity of the Year

Does your group nominate a charity to support each year? We’d be delighted to help you set up a fundraising calendar for us. Get in touch to find out more.

Quiz

Everyone loves a quiz and we can even help you with the questions. Hold one at you usual meeting or maybe pop to the local pub. If you really want to see money rolling in, charge for clues to the answers and you’ll soon discover how competitive people are!
