Dear members,

We’ve recently trained volunteers to be hosts on Your Community. This thread is a space for our new hosts to introduce themselves, so please do give them a warm welcome 😊

As parents of deaf children themselves, the volunteer hosts bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to Your Community. They are here to welcome you, share their experiences and respond to your threads.

Please continue to contact our moderator team about any issues using Your Community or feedback. You can find out how to contact the moderators here.

We’re also on the look out for other members who are interested in becoming volunteer hosts. If this is you, please contact us via the community inbox: [email protected]. We’d love to hear from you!

Dear fellow members,

As a mother of two deaf children who are now young adults, I believe it is very important to be able to meet other parents/carers in similar situations, share experiences and support each other in different stages of our children’s development.

I am happy to volunteer in Your Community and hopefully I could help you with your queries and support you along your journey in bringing up your child.

Best wishes!

Hello all,

Just to follow on from Claire's post, I'd like to introduce myself as one of the new volunteer hosts within Your Community.

As dad to two teenage boys who wear hearing aids, I've seen over 15 years of growth and development of our kids and their journey.

I'll be happy to help where I can with any of my experience.

Thanks!

Neil
