Big Cake Bake totals get a great rise

Our brilliant bakers have been at it again! Our annual Big Cake Bake held during Deaf Awareness Week in May has been a fantastic success, raising over £10,000 and counting! That’s a lot of cupcakes!

Over 200 cake filled events happened up and down the country, with everything from yummy cupcakes and biscuits to big decorated cakes on offer.

Claire Lubbock, Community Fundraiser at the National Deaf Children’s Society, said “Our Big Cake Bakers have gone above and beyond this Deaf Awareness Week and raised over £11,000 and counting! This amount will make a huge different here at the National Deaf Children’s Society. Thank you to everyone who had a “dough” at raising as much as possible to support deaf children!”
